Market Ambassador
AliBee is a small-batch skincare, hair care, body wellness and home goods brand made for people navigating perimenopause, menopause and beyond. Every formula is ours, made by hand in the studio in Fair Oaks. We want people to feel informed, comfortable and welcome when they spend time with us, whether they buy something or not.
This is a seasonal Saturday role. You'll represent AliBee at local markets and events, sometimes alongside us and sometimes running the booth on your own.
What you'll do
- Set up and break down the booth using materials provided on site
- Welcome people and let them know you're here to help
- Learn what someone is looking for and recommend thoughtfully
- Explain products and ingredients clearly
- Run the point of sale and package purchases to AliBee standards
- Keep the booth stocked, clean and inviting, and flag inventory needs
Who we're looking for
You do not need to be a skincare expert. We can teach you the products and the science behind them. What matters more is how you connect with people.
- Outgoing and approachable, comfortable talking with people you've never met
- Warm without being pushy, able to invite a sale without pressuring anyone
- Humble enough to say "I don't know" instead of guessing
- A good listener who can tell when someone wants help and when they want room to browse
- Reliable and independent, someone we'd trust to represent AliBee alone
- Comfortable with real conversations about aging, menopause, hot flashes and body changes
AliBee is intentionally inclusive of people across genders and identities who experience perimenopause and menopause. Personal experience is not required. Empathy, maturity and the ability to listen without judgment are.
How we sell
The people who shop with us are the AliBee Community, and we mean that word. Many of them come back season after season. Some tell us things at the table they haven't said out loud anywhere else. Treat every person who stops by like they belong there, because they do.
The Community is smart, curious and often skeptical of big beauty promises. We educate, recommend, and give people room to decide for themselves. A good interaction does not always end with a purchase.
No scare tactics, no shame, no anti-aging language, no miracle promises, and no medical advice.
AliBee should feel like talking with a knowledgeable friend who happens to be a formulator. Direct, warm, never condescending.
What you'll need
- Available Saturdays, September through December
- Reliable transportation, and a dependable phone for event-day communication
- Able to set up and break down a 10x10 booth on site and lift product bins
- Comfortable standing for several hours, indoors and outdoors
- Comfortable using a point-of-sale system
What we'll provide
- Full training on the products, the ingredients and how we talk about them
- Everything you need on site. We drop the tent, table, displays and product, and pick it all up at the end. You pack it up, we haul it.
- A person on the other end of the phone all day. You're never figuring it out alone.
- A supportive place to work. We don't do panic.
- Real experience worth putting on a résumé: direct customer sales, product education, independent booth operation, point-of-sale and inventory handling
Retail, hospitality, farmers market or customer service experience helps, but is not required. Personality, judgment and reliability matter more to us than a perfect résumé.
This is a temporary, seasonal, part-time position.

A résumé isn't necessary. If you have one and would like to send it, email it to hithere.alibee@gmail.com. It's completely optional.
There are no right answers below. We're trying to get a feel for how you think, so answer in your own words. A sentence or two is plenty.
We heard from a lot of people last season, and we read every application. You'll hear back from us either way, whether or not we move forward together.
Thank you.
We've got your answers and we'll be in touch soon. If you'd like to send a résumé, email it to hithere.alibee@gmail.com.
