Meet Tracy
Tracy M'Liss Bezanson
Founder and Formulator of AliBee
I didn't grow up taking care of my skin. I used baby oil to tan, spent a lot of time in tanning beds, used a ton of Sun-In on my hair, and worked in my younger years as a lifeguard. I scoffed at sunscreen and reached for the Hawaiian Tropics oil. I told myself I'd deal with it later. Later came in the form of dermatologist visits, sun damage, and more than a few biopsies that made me start paying attention.
That's when the questions and the learning started. What's in these products? What do ingredients do? What does skin need as it changes? I started learning, experimenting, and eventually formulating. I tried everything on myself first, and when I saw results, I was excited to share them. AliBee was born from my abundant curiosity and exploration.
I'm a certified menopause coach, and that shapes everything I make. I understand and have personally experienced how hormonal shifts change the skin: the dryness, the sensitivity, the loss of resilience. Where most brands treat this stage of life as a problem to reverse, I approach it with honesty and encouragement, naming perimenopause and menopause directly and formulating for them without apology.
My philosophy: get as close to nature as possible without cutting corners on safety. I only use AliBee products myself, and have for years. That's not a marketing line. It's just true.
Everything is made by hand in small batches in my Fair Oaks, California studio. Every formula starts with intention and a real need. Purposeful ingredients, nothing in there just to impress with fancy names on a label.
When I'm not in the studio, I'm probably finding tiny details in a bloom with my camera, spending quiet time with family, or planning my next adventure somewhere with moss, sea air, or creatures to meet.
Every decade gets better. This one included.
