Balanced Daily Hydrating Face Lotion

A lightweight daily moisturizer for dry to normal skin. Formulated with hyaluronic acid, green tea, and licorice root for moisture that lasts and tone that looks more even.

Dryness and tightness are two of the most common skin complaints in perimenopause and menopause, and Sacramento summers are dry on top of it. This is the lotion we reach for daily. Light enough for a hot afternoon, hydrating enough that skin still feels comfortable at bedtime.

What It Does

  • Relieves dryness and tightness with moisture that holds through the day

  • Keeps skin soft and supple without heaviness or shine

  • Supports skin exposed to sun, wind, heat, and dry indoor air

  • Fades the appearance of dark spots and evens the look of skin tone over time

  • Absorbs quickly and layers under sunscreen and makeup

What's Inside

  • Hyaluronic Acid, pulls water into the upper layers of skin and holds it there, which is what relieves that tight feeling

  • Green Tea Extract, antioxidant support against daily environmental stress

  • Licorice Root Extract, studied for its effect on pigmentation, used here to fade the appearance of dark spots and even the look of tone

  • Calendula, soothing on skin that reacts easily, with a soft honeyed-herbal scent

  • Rosehip Oil, rich in fatty acids and naturally occurring vitamin A compounds, supports the look of smooth, even skin

  • Sunflower Oil, Jojoba Oil, Squalane, Glycerin, and Vitamin E round out the base

How to Use

Apply to clean, slightly damp skin morning and evening. Use it on its own, or layer it under sunscreen and makeup. On dry days, press a facial oil or balm over the top to seal it in.

1 oz frosted glass jar. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Made in small batches in our Fair Oaks, California studio, so slight variation in color and texture from batch to batch is normal.

We believe natural and science can work beautifully together. We favor botanicals and thoughtfully chosen ingredients, including carefully selected synthetics when they help improve stability, preservation, texture, or performance. We do not formulate with parabens or phthalates.
